Make an easy move

Easy Move package now available on 'Tabley' homes

2020 might not have transpired in the way that we all thought but there is still time to make the most of it.

To make life easier for buyers, our Easy Move package is now available on our Tabley-style homes in Knutsford and enables purchasers to move into their new home with a smooth & enjoyable transition for the whole family.

When combined with the savings that can be made due to the government’s newly introduced Stamp Duty holiday, it means there’s never been a better time to find a new home. The SDLT was implemented in July and will be in place until March 2021. It will considerably reduce costs for homebuyers, and people buying homes worth more than £500,000 will enjoy substantial financial benefits as more expensive properties will only be taxed on their value above that amount.

If customers move into a Tabley before April 2021, they can benefit from savings up to £35,000 due to Stamp Duty savings and our Easy Move incentive. Part exchange is also available on selected plots. The Tabley is a four-bedroom detached home that features a handmade kitchen, modern technology and designer bathrooms. At the rear, stretching across the full width of the home is a fabulous open plan kitchen, dining and family room creating one large versatile living/relaxing/entertaining space. Two sets of bi-fold doors help connect the interior accommodation to the outside and are perfect for sunny days and socialising. Upstairs are four impressive sized double bedrooms of which two benefit from an en-suite and the remaining bedrooms are served by a luxurious family bathroom.

MAKE THE MOST OF 2020

If this year teaches us anything, it’s that quality time with our loved ones is the most precious commodity. The architecture of a building makes a real difference to how people interact with each other; for example, light-filled and generously sized rooms can allow families to come together while also having their space. The team from Harvey Homes strongly believes in this ethos and has designed all of its homes at the Swan Green development in Knutsford accordingly. Each one of the 30 stylish homes incorporate beautiful and spacious living spaces, alongside helpful storage features and designer touches.

Swan Green itself is a hidden gem in the heart of Cheshire. The homes there have the advantage of being surrounded by beautiful countryside, while being just a stone’s throw away from the popular and bustling town of Knutsford.

Tom Harvey Ratcliffe, Director of Harvey Homes, commented: “This past year has certainly put life into perspective. Lockdown measures have certainly shown that having a home that facilitates family time can be fundamental to our happiness.

“For example, it used to be that a kitchen was just a place to cook, but these days kitchens are the main living space for families where they come together for both celebratory and day-to-day activities. For this reason, all the kitchens at our Swan Green homes have been specifically designed so that they can be flexible spaces that suit every member of a family.”

THE HEART OF THE HOME

The kitchen is the most important room in the home, a hugely versatile space for the creation of great cuisine and even greater conversation.

Each of the kitchens at Swan Green has been designed and supplied by Second Nature, one of Britain’s leading independently owned kitchen suppliers and a fourth-generation family business. The team works closely with Europe’s most reputable manufacturers to deliver style, quality and innovation to its customers. Each of their ranges offers an abundance of storage space and uncluttered worksurfaces for easy food preparation.

All of the kitchens are available in a wide choice of contemporary colours. Integrated into each kitchen scheme is a range of high performance ‘A’ rated kitchen appliances from a leading manufacturer.

The kitchen that features in our Tabley properties is an in-frame Shaker with a refreshed aesthetic. It has proved popular due to the traditional look being combined with modern features such as a quartz worktop, pop-up downdraft, plate warming drawer and pop up tower sockets. “The kitchens at Swan Green are a perfect balance of function and aesthetic. Being predominantly family homes, the space has to look good whilst also working really hard to support lots of different daily activities, and people!” – The Second Nature Design Team, Graeme Smith & Jennifer Dixon.
